AND THEN WE HAVE A FEW CAMPUSES THAT ARE REQUIRED TO DO TARGETED IMPROVEMENT PLANNING DUE TO BEING RECIPIENTS OF FEDERAL FUNDS BIRDVILLE ELEMENTARY, BINION, STOWE ELEMENTARY, NORTH OAKS, NORTH RICHLAND, AND WATAUGA MIDDLE.
THAT'S HALTOM MIDDLE AND HOLIDAY HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY.
SO PART OF IMPROVEMENT PLANNING STARTS WITH A NEEDS ASSESSMENT.
EFFECTIVE SCHOOLS FRAMEWORK DIAGNOSTIC IS THE REQUIRED NEEDS ASSESSMENT THAT TAKES PLACE.
AT OUR OWN EXPENSE BECAUSE WE NEED TO SEE HOW OUR CAMPUSES ARE DOING.
THIS WAS CONDUCTED BY REGION 11. IT WAS COMPLETED IN SPRING, AND OVERALL, THE FINDINGS WERE THAT TEA APPROVED, HIGH QUALITY INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS WERE NOT BEING PROVIDED AND UTILIZED ON CAMPUS.
WHAT I WANT TO CLARIFY IS THIS DOESN'T MEAN THE CURRICULUM WAS NOT WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE.

NOW, THE IMPROVEMENT OF CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION THROUGH THE STRONG FOUNDATIONS IMPLEMENTATION IS THE SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT STRATEGY FOR IMPLEMENTING HIGH QUALITY INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS.
WE ADOPTED THAT LAST YEAR TO BE IMPLEMENTED THIS YEAR.
AND WE ARE ALSO PILOTING THE HQIM MATH IN SPANISH THIS YEAR.
AND THEN HQIM RLA WILL BE ADOPTED IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH FOR IMPLEMENTATION NEXT YEAR.

THEY'VE BEEN DEVELOPED. TEAS REQUIREMENT IS THAT WE PROVIDE A WE PROVIDE STUDENT OUTCOME GOALS FOR ALL STUDENTS TO THESE TARGETED IMPROVEMENT CAMPUSES.
AND THAT IS SPECIFIC TO MEETS GRADE LEVEL PERFORMANCE OR ABOVE.

DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING OUR TARGETED IMPROVEMENT POLAN.
WE ARE ALSO DEVELOPING FOR WEST BIRDVILLE BECAUSE THEY'RE IN YEAR 2 DEVELOPING THE TURNAROUND PLAN.
FOR TWO YEARS NOW, CHENEY HILLS WILL BE DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING A TARGETED IMPROVEMENT PLAN AGAIN NEXT YEAR AND DEVELOPING A TURNAROUND PLAN IF THEY DON'T MAKE IMPROVEMENT NOW THE LONG TERM IN 28-29. ON AUGUST 15TH OF 2029. IF IMPROVEMENT IS NOT MADE, DOCTOR STINSON WILL RECEIVE A LETTER ESSENTIALLY EXPLAINING THE NEXT WORST CASE SCENARIO, WHICH WOULD BE TEA CLOSURE OR APPOINTMENT OF A BOARD OF MANAGER.
